Not a problem but I would be concerned about going much bigger on that base circle without different rods or clearancing. Lifters are Morel 4708 with standard GM spider and guides.
Webb8 maj 2010 · Yes, typically, the only clearance issues on a 5.7" rod 400 will be the heads of the rod bolts to the cam. A small base circle cam will provide extra clearance, or grinding the bolts slightly sometimes works. There are also rods out there made to provide the proper clearance.
